Mickey Mouse
This cake was created for a little man who was turning 1!!! The sheet cake was a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse cake design by deco pack. The mom really loved this design but also wanted to order a unique design as well. The second cake is Mickey Mouse's face and clothes. The ears, nose and clothes were made out of fondant. Both cakes were my white vanilla cake with strawberry filling.

Toy Story
I created this little mans first birthday cake last year, it was the Cookie Monster cake. This year he wanted Toy Story. His mom brought me the the figures she wanted on the cake and let me have all artistic rights to the cake. I really wanted to create the bed from the movie. The bottom layer I air brushed to look like the wood floor in the room. The bed is covered in fondant to make it look more realistic. The cake it self was vanilla cake on the bottom and the bed was chocolate cake and buttercream icing.
Beer Cupcakes
I started playing around with some new flavors and what better to use than beer. There are so many different types of beers out there that have wonderful flavor. The two that I started out with were Blue Moon and Guinness Stout. The Guinness I mixed with my signature chocolate cake and the Blue Moon I mixed with my signature vanilla cake. They both turned out really well. I also mailed my first cupcakes to a client in Dallas. They arrived undamaged, well they were not iced, and they loved them.

These two cakes were created for two girls that share a birthday. They both wanted the same theme cakes but each a little different. On cake is white and lemon and the other was chocolate and strawberry. They both are covered in buttercream and accented with fondant and beads. The nest is done out of toasted coconut and the baby birds are buttecream and their beaks are chocolate covered sunflower seeds. The birds eyes are were done with and edible marker.
