My Birthday Cake

This is not a cake that I made but one that was made by this sweet lady in Urania Louisiana. 2 weeks before my birthday we spent the weekend with my husbands grandparents and she said that since I always make cakes for every ones birthday she wanted to get one for me. It was an almond flavored cake with layers upon layers of icing topped with all kinds of fruit. There were chocolate dipped strawberries and cherries some were dipped in pecans and some had almonds. There were also crystallized grapes. This cake was to DIE for!!! I haven't had my own birthday cake in a few years and I could believe she made sure I had one even though it was Grandmothers birthday and mine was still a few weeks away.

Sumpter Wedding

This couple contacted me to create their wedding cakes for their reception they were having after they came back from their destination wedding in Florida. The groom knew exactly what he wanted even though it was not your typical grooms cake. The bride wanted to include red and gold. The wedding cake was a 3 tier cake one tier white, one tier marble, and one tier chocolate all covered in buttercream icing. The grooms cake was red velvet topped with cream cheese icing and fondant accents.

Baby Boy Shower Cake

This cake was created for a good friend of mine who is expecting a little boy. She had no clue that I was bringing a cake as her shower was just a simple family get together since they live out of town. It was chocolate cake and buttercream icing.

Pink and Lime Green Baby Shower Cake

This cake was created for a friend of mines little sister who is expecting a little girl. It was a 2 tier cake with one tier chocolate cake with a chocolate fudge filling and the other tier was white cake with lemon filling.
